Freeport Technologies offers a complete suite of CAD Services which include 2D construction documents, 3D modeling and detailed high resolution photo realistic renderings, audio simulation and lighting analysis of proposed or current spaces. The level of detailed information which is included in our drawing package provides Freeport personnel and the client a complete understanding of the project requirements.
- Construction/System Drawings – Freeport documents construction design with detailed construction drawings produced with Autodesk, AutoCAD 2010 software. Freeport provides sightline plans and elevations, rough-in plans and elevations, AV Plans and reflected ceiling plans, furniture plans, and conduit and cabling routes. The drawing package is the baseline for the project and helps the GC, Project Manager, Production Manager and our Installers to properly execute fabrication and installation of the project.
- Millwork Design – Freeport’s millwork designs are documented with Autodesk, AutoCAD 2010 software. Furniture Plans are used to determine the room seating requirements, to ensure ultimate room functionality, and to provide the level of fit and finish to match the corporate culture. Millwork and furniture designs are developed in house and with our millwork partner, Wilcox Woodworks, Inc.. Renderings are then made to ensure that each room meets the client’s needs and addresses the requirements for a high performance collaborative work environment.
- 3D Renderings – Proposed rooms are 3D modeled with Autodesk, AutoCAD 2010 and photo realistic renderings are produced with Accurender 4.0 and nXt/AR5. 3D models and photo realistic renderings of the proposed space enable us to illustrate to the client, our understanding of the fit, finishes, furniture layout, lighting, and camera views required to produce an outstanding environment for audio and video presentation and conferencing.
- Lighting Design – Lighting analysis is performed using Visual Lighting Design software 2.6 Professional Edition by Acuity Brand Lighting, Inc. With this tool and our extensive knowledge of proper lighting for videoconferencing, a complete photometric design and rendering is produced. Freeport lighting design recommendations ensure high quality lighting results for all presentation and videoconferencing scenarios.
- Acoustic Design – Existing and proposed rooms are simulated for acoustic properties using EASE version 4.2 acoustic simulation software. With simulation we are able to determine whether a room is acoustically suitable for audio conferencing and presentation. The simulation will also allow us to test recommended ceiling materials, wall and floor coverings, required to correct any acoustical deficiencies of a room. This simulation will also allow us to introduce furnishings and to illustrate how various items will affect the room acoustics.
